The data controller for personal data is Coddo, publisher of the task-driven desktop app for Claude Code, and the associated website accessible at https://coddo.ai.

## 2. Data Collected
We collect the following data:

### Website Data
- Email address (waitlist, newsletter)
- First and last name (optional)
- Referral information

### Desktop Application
- Coddo runs primarily locally on your machine
- Your conversations, code, task content, and project data stay on your computer and are never transmitted to our servers
- Communication with the Claude API is handled directly by Claude Code (Anthropic)

### Usage Statistics (Desktop Application)
When you are logged into your Coddo account, the desktop application transmits **anonymized usage statistics** to our servers, including:
- Number of tasks created and completed
- Task processing time (execution duration)
- Estimated task cost (based on Claude API consumption)
- Task status (in progress, completed, etc.)

**No task content, conversation messages, source code, or project data is collected or transmitted.** Only statistical metadata is sent to allow you to track your activity from the web dashboard and to help us improve our services.

### Technical Data (Website only)
- IP address
- Browser type
- Pages visited
- Connection time

## 3. Processing Purposes
Your data is used to:
- Manage waitlist registrations and early access
- Send product updates and announcements
- Improve our website and services
- Contact you regarding your account or inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations
- Analyze website usage to improve user experience

## 4. Legal Basis
The processing of your data is based on:
- **Consent:** Newsletter subscription and waitlist registration
- **Legitimate interest:** Website improvement and security
- **Legal obligation:** Compliance with regulatory requirements

We never sell your data. We may only share it with:
- Our technical service providers (hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality agreement

Only aggregated usage statistics (task counts, durations, estimated costs) are transmitted to our servers when you are logged in.
