1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Coddo, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our software.
2. Service Description
Coddo is a free desktop application built around Claude Code. It gives developers a Kanban board, integrated AI chat, and automatic Git branches to delegate tasks to Claude Code and track their execution. Coddo requires a separate Claude Code subscription from Anthropic.
3. License
- Coddo is a proprietary software provided free of charge
- The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
4. Third-Party Dependencies
- Coddo requires Claude Code by Anthropic to function
- You must have an active Claude Code subscription (Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise)
- Your use of Claude Code is governed by Anthropic's terms of service
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic
5. Data & Privacy
- Coddo runs primarily locally on your machine
- Your conversations, code, task content, and project data are stored locally and never transmitted to our servers
- Communication with the Claude API is handled directly by Claude Code
- Anonymized usage statistics are collected when you are logged in: task counts, completed tasks, processing time, and estimated cost. No task content, messages, or source code is transmitted
- These statistics allow you to track your activity from the web dashboard and help us improve our services
6. Website & Newsletter
- The Coddo website collects minimal data (email for waitlist/newsletter)
- You can unsubscribe at any time

7. Limitation of Liability
- The software is provided "as is" without warranty
- We are not responsible for any code generated or modified through Coddo
- We are not liable for any data loss or damages resulting from using the software
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and testing any code changes made through the application
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the software legally and ethically
- Comply with Anthropic's usage policies when using Claude Code
- Not use the software to generate malicious or harmful code
- Not misrepresent Coddo as an official Anthropic product
9. Changes to Terms
- We may modify these terms at any time
- Important changes will be announced on our website
- Continued use of the software implies acceptance of the new terms
10. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to competent French courts.
